About Me
I am
a Children's Entertainer, published Children's Writer, Clinical
Social Worker, Emergency Medical Technician, Mommy,
Traveler, Really Bad Housekeeper, Complainer (when house
cleaning), and Caver...depending on the day...
Social Worker:
I've
worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and
substance abuse counselor (CADC) with 18 years experience in
crisis intervention. I've also worked in prenatal care and
adoption.

EMT:
For 12 years I have been a volunteer
Emergency Medical Technician
with the East Brunswick Rescue Squad. My
18-year-old daughter, Cara, is also a
member, and her sister Alana will join
in December on her 16th
birthday. Want to join? Log onto

Caver:
I have no doubt there is a direct
correlation between how dirty a kid gets
and how much fun he’s had. That needn't
change when you grow up. If you like
adventure and don’t mind tight spaces,
you might like caving as much as I do.
As a member of the Central New Jersey
Grotto, I get to wallow in the mud,
learn about cave conservation, see
awesome formations, get great exercise,
and hang out beneath the surface with a
great group of folks. Check out their
website:

Gardener:
I
hate winter, particularly the depressing lack of color and
life. So when spring finally arrives, and for the next few
months, you will find me working in my garden. Together, My
Man and I have built an oasis in our yard, complete with a
fish-filled pond. I’ve counted 15 species of birds that
regularly visit.
Mommy:
This is my favorite job ever. I’ve been
blessed with two fabulous daughters and a stepdaughter who
bring me constant joy and inspiration. Cliché, but true
Wife:
I am blissfully married to my soul mate,
adventure partner, biggest fan (and vice versa), playmate,
best friend, and confidant.
